By registering your details to subscribe to the Football Manager Live Service (“the Service”) you consent to the use and transfer of your personal information inside and outside the EEA. This privacy policy sets out how SEGA will use any information about you that it gathers.
 
What information do we gather?
 
Automatic information: we automatically collect general data to allow creation of website statistics, such as page impressions, but this data cannot be used to track the movements of any individual user on the website.

What is ‘personal information’?

Personal information is information about you. It can include your name, address, telephone number, email address and bank account details. It can also be the type of job you do, the things you buy and the place you went to school.

When do we collect personal information?
 
Data collection though subscription to the Football Manager Live Service can occur in a number of different ways, including, but not limited to:

1. Registering for the SEGA PASS service;
2. Visiting the FootballManagerLive.com websites;
3. Pre Ordering / Subscribing to the Service;
4. Participating within the Service;
5. Speaking with one of SEGA's product support operatives; and
6. Registering with SEGA's online product support service.

We will not require anybody to disclose more personal information that we deem reasonably necessary to participate in the Service or meet our legitimate business objectives.

What do we do with such personal information?
 
The personal information you supply will be stored by SEGA in its contact database and certain information may be aggregated with other information to enable SEGA to understand more about the profiles of the users in order to help improve the website and SEGA's products.  We may also use your personal information for the following purposes:

1. to enhance the Service, our Web sites and your overall experience;
2. for internal marketing and demographic studies;
3. to contact you for non marketing purposes;
4. to contact you with material which SEGA, acting reasonably and in good faith, deems of interest to you;

6. to protect the rights , property or safety of the Service, our web sites and users of the Service and web sites.

By subscribing to the Service you consent to SEGA sending to you information which SEGA deems of interest to you based on the options you select when you subscribe for the SEGA Pass Service. The personal information supplied will also be used for internal data mining purposes to enable SEGA to better understand its user base.

In submitting payment for the Service, you will be required to disclose certain personal information including payment card information and the name and address of the card holder or person making the payment. Such information will be subject to verification by the relevant card issuing company or such other third party necessary to verify such payment. Unless you give us permission at the time we collect such information we will not use this information for any purpose except for the fulfillment and record of the payment transaction.

SEGA will share your personal information with third-party companies or organisations that provide support for the Service or our Web sites, such as those who may administer an activity for us e.g. a competition. These third parties will use your personal information to perform their functions and may not use it for other purposes. SEGA will not otherwise share your personal information with third parties unless your consent has first been given.

Third Party Advertisements

If you download and participate in the Service you will receive advertising messages that appear within and in context with the game environments within the Service to enhance the realism of the Service. To provide this functionality, technology developed by IGA Worldwide Inc. has been integrated into the Service. This technology will automatically deliver location-based advertising and log and transmit certain information about your interaction with the advertising.

The Service may incorporate dynamic ad serving technology, such as that offered by IGA Worldwide, Inc., which enables the Service to receive such advertising messages referred to above that appear within and in context with the game environments within the Service to enhance the realism of the Service. In order to select the content that is displayed during use, IGA uses the IP address of the computer on which the Service is accessed. The IP address is used to determine the your country or city, the game being played, the size and length of time that content is displayed within the Service, and the length of a game session. IGA does not use IP addresses to ascertain the identity of any individual Service user. This ad serving technology is integrated into the game.

How are Cookies used by this Service?

The Football Manager Website and others operated by SEGA use cookies. These store a string of unique numbers on your hard drive which allow only the SEGA website to identify you as a member of 'SEGA PASS'. Cookies are required for certain parts of the site to work. We do not store any personal data in these cookies, just a unique number that identifies you to us.

Changing and modifying the information we store about you

If at any time you wish to amend the information held by SEGA, simply log in to your SEGA PASS account or your Football Manager Live Account and change your information by following the on screen instructions.

Your rights

You have the right to request a copy of the personal information that SEGA holds about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected at your request.
